Marek joined the ESSENS team while working for a large multinational company. However, he did not think twice, accepted the offer and in 2020 took over as CFO. He has known ESSENS since its inception, when from his position as a banker he contributed to obtaining the company’s first operational financing. Thanks to his experience, Marek is very well oriented in areas such as financial consulting, banking, control management and corporate finance, and tax and accounting auditing.
His attitude towards his life and work was significantly influenced by his sporting activities, as he actively played football and then unihockey. He continues to play these sports and, in addition, transmits a sense of honour and fair play to his players. “He knew ESSENS very well since he worked in the banking sector.
My cooperation with the founders of the company goes back to the period before its creation. Back then, when the job
came up with the offer for the position of CFO, I was well aware of the enormous scope and opportunities the company had. I had no doubts. I felt that this was a great opportunity not only to continue my personal development, but also to be able to contribute to the further growth of the company through my knowledge and experience in all possible aspects. areas of finance and economics.
I have to say that I am doing very well at ESSENS and in addition to doing a job that I enjoy and that makes me feel fulfilled, that is what I value the most. There is a good atmosphere and an admirable team spirit here. It’s a good change for me after my previous work experience with big companies.
Control and compliance manager
Vladimíra has been a part of ESSENS since its foundation in 2011. Before that, she worked for several years in a company successfully managed by Mr. Michal Kovář. He started his working career while studying, helping in a warehouse to pack shipments. After graduating from high school, she worked as a sales operator and then worked her way up to assistant manager of the company. In 2011, she was appointed Office Manager at ESSENS due to her responsible attitude and commitment.
For the next seven years, Vladimíra was responsible for the operation of the Czech branch of ESSENS. She focused on human resources, managed teams of employees and also dealt with financial matters. In 2018, when the company was experiencing significant growth, Vladimíra took on the position of CFO, where she meticulously looked after the finances for two years.
In early 2021, Vladimíra shifted his focus to ensuring compliance with ESSENS’ processes and ethical policies. As the company continues to grow rapidly, he aims to maintain compliance standards in all areas of the business.
Vladimir has always sought to do his job in the best possible way, looking for solutions in
instead of focusing on the problems. She has approached all her tasks with passion and commitment, considering ESSENS as a matter of heart. She is grateful for the opportunity and the trust that the company’s management has placed in her, as well as for the possibility to gain valuable experience and knowledge.
Vladimíra stresses that when a person strives to reach their full potential at work and cares about doing so, they are valued and make a mark. Manager Essens Italy
“Radka joined ESSENS in 2014 before opening one of the largest branches, ESSENS Italy. Living in Italy for many years, she had a perfect knowledge of Italian law and her heart and soul were truly Italian. All the legal requirements, dealing with a very complicated bureaucracy. and, despite all the impediments, organising an opening ceremony of a new Italian branch, being from the beginning responsible for his impeccable performance in the branch.
She has been able to be at all events, close to the people who require her presence,
whether they are official secretaries, workers or Italian leaders. She travels weekly to Italy.
And how she describes: “In my life, I have always followed my intuition and my sixth sense. If I don’t like something or don’t agree with something, I’m not afraid to say so. However, I can be totally enthusiastic about anything that I think is perfect for the company, for the future, would push us in the right direction. That is exactly what I felt when I was offered a managerial position at ESSENS ITALIA. I am absolutely delighted that my intuition did not let me down.
Not only was I able to participate in wonderful experiences, but I also met many amazing people, and many of them are still my closest friends. ESSENS has become my family. Human Resources Manager
ESSENS crossed Kateřina’s path while she was at a professional crossroads, looking for new career stimuli. After a brief meeting in 2017 at ESSENS headquarters with the owner of the company, she quickly got an idea of how much energy is behind the distributors, what vision the owner of the company has and how Kateřina can get involved. Thanks to her 15 years of work experience abroad.
I was able to join the rapidly expanding International Department which was very dynamic,
which suited her working mentality perfectly. In this way Kateřina was able to start forming her own visions and ideas of work. “My first trips abroad were out of pure curiosity, but once I found myself in a new
country, I knew I had made the right decision. Staying abroad allowed me to go through the so-called “university of life”. Thanks to the opportunity to work in different areas such as tourism, real estate, project management and online marketing, everything fell into place like a jigsaw puzzle and I continue to build on the knowledge I gained from these work experiences. Today I am still part of the International Department which is responsible, among others
for the regular national and international events that take place every year.
However, I also have room to develop my second passion, which is recruitment management. It is to constantly expand the teams and find new talents suitable for key positions both in the Czech Republic and abroad, which can enrich the ESSENS team and help open the doors to new sections and projects that ESSENS constantly brings. Thanks to the new ESSENS TV project I also discovered my other hobby, which is dubbing into English and Czech. ‘I am 100% sure that we are not done with it, in fact, it has just begun’.
Marketing Manager
Jana joined ESSENS in 2012 and is one of the original team members. Previously she had been in the healthcare and corporate sectors for many years. As co-founder of a non-profit organisation, she was in charge of all marketing and advertising strategies, public relations and related operational issues. She was involved in freelance marketing for other companies, especially as copywriter and webmaster. Currently, in charge of the ESSENS marketing and graphics team, she oversees and coordinates all marketing campaigns and projects of the company, as well as any printed material
representing our company worldwide.
On her activity at ESSENS, she says: “I was in the right place at the right time. After many years of stability, I found myself in a totally unknown project for me and I took a risk with my son’s and my own future, being a single mother. Still, I felt the opportunity for personal growth and development, and I am still grateful to my sixth sense for having accepted the job offer. I have gained valuable experience in different segments and markets and my work continues to drive me forward. And that’s exactly what I need, because as a Fire Zodiac sign person, I can’t stand the stereotype. I am happy to have a job I love and I am proud to be part of ESSENS.
Process control and analysis manager
Veronika has been working at ESSENS since 2018, where she moved from the European funding field where she had the opportunity to participate in large projects for more than ten years, such as procurement and implementation of hospital information systems, reconstruction and modernisation of facilities, including production processes. However, the work strangled by regulations and bureaucratic decisions no longer suited her and she found a welcome change in ESSENS as a dynamic and modern company that at that time was taking the next big step in its growth and Veronika could grow with the company by her side, not only on a professional level, but also as a manager.
“At ESSENS I am responsible for the Analysis and Management Control Department. My
job includes the supervision of key processes and projects related not only to the
IT Department, but also the data analysis of the company and each foreign branch. It involves, for example, working daily with data export, sales analysis, creation and configuration of promotions, pricing or eshop administration. ESSENS also gave me the opportunity to get involved in the creation of new projects, so I was able to be part of the launch of several product lines, such as Must Have Edition and Slow Viviendo. It starts with the first idea, developing key products in terms of colour, composition, fragrance, packaging design or sales calculations, and the whole process is huge. Adrenaline rush: lots of fun, but also responsibility.
Also, at ESSENS I met amazing people, which is very important for me, not only on a professional level, but also on a personal level. I enjoy working with numbers, but also with other types of processes, I don’t like monotony and that is impossible here. And most importantly, in the morning I am looking forward to going to work, smelling the perfume samples as new work challenges arrive and the food from the amazing chef Robert.
Production Manager
“I joined ESSENS in 2018, but I have more than 25 years of experience in foreign trade, where I was in charge of imports from many countries and had to navigate the thorny path of customs legislation, new revolutionary post-state laws and later the European Union. This involves travelling, communicating in several languages and exploring new business relationships, as well as establishing friendships with business partners.
I believe that personal relationships and knowledge of different cultures allow the best links to be found, when a business becomes a partnership.
I knew ESSENS and its founder from the very beginning, when it was still trying to make its way in the market. Today, I see a company that stands strong and offers massive support to all partners. Some will say: “I am happy to work here, but it may sound cliché. I can honestly say that I have a dream job. And if the employee is satisfied, the company can also flourish and develop. Essens Coordinator in Russia
Anastasia came to Brno right after finishing her studies in high school, which is when she started studying at Masaryk University. She loved the city of Brno, so she decided to stay. After graduating, she joined a logistics company where she worked for two years.
He liked the job, but it was not until he joined ESSENS that he found his true potential and was able to take advantage of his mother tongue. Today he is in charge of the
branch in Russia. “Do what you love to do and there will never be a day’s work in your life: this is my favourite. Quote that perfectly describes my attitude towards work.
I joined ESSENS relatively recently and have taken on the position of coordinator of the Russian Branch, which is the largest and one of the most important.
At the beginning it was not easy, but thanks to the support I made it. I owe this support to the great team at ESSENS.
Essens Coordinator in Ireland and UK
She started working at ESSENS in October 2018 after a year living in England. Her position was in customer service, where she became familiar with how the company works. After only three months she had the great opportunity to coordinate the newly opened branch in England. And as the expectations of the British branch were met very quickly, soon another branch was opened in Dublin, Ireland, which is also managed by Tereza.
“I have no regrets, you have to get out of your comfort zone. And whoever wants to stay

What I value most about ESSENS as an employee is the huge diversity of jobs, the constant growth and progress of each employee, our members and the company as a whole.
